Chapter 15-17: Luffy vs. Buggy
The showdown between Luffy and Buggy takes center stage as the two clash. Buggy mocks Luffy’s goal of becoming the Pirate King, and Luffy retaliates, revealing his deep respect for Shanks, a figure who Buggy knew from his past.
Nami plays a crucial role, using her wits to help Luffy and Zoro gain an advantage over Buggy. With their combined efforts, they manage to outsmart Buggy and defeat him, freeing Orange Town from his tyranny.
Chapter 18-21: The Goodbye and New Crewmate
After Buggy’s defeat, the townspeople thank Luffy, Zoro, and Nami. Nami initially plans to part ways with them, but Luffy invites her to join his crew as their navigator. Though hesitant, Nami decides to join them, driven by her own hidden motives and goal.
The trio sets off, with Nami now officially becoming Luffy’s navigator, marking the beginning of a unique partnership in their quest for adventure and treasure.
